Cheers Creative Enthusiasts,

At Giant Leaps Creative, each year we donate a portion of our proceeds to worthy causes in an effort to help make the world a better place for all of us. We mainly try to focus on those that can’t easily help themselves and could use some support – such as our youth, our animals and those struggling with mental illness. Today, Giant Leaps Creative is proud to support Horton’s Kids – a community-based organization that serves 500 children, grades K through 12, living in an isolated neighborhood called Wellington Park in Washington, DC’s Ward 8. Horton’s Kids’ mission is to empower at-risk children and prepare them for successful and healthy lives through educational opportunities and comprehensive programs tailored to their needs. They provide a holistic, research-based continuum of academic, youth development, and basic needs support designed to empower children to succeed. Horton’s Kids believes circumstance should not dictate a child’s future, and that every child should graduate from high school ready to succeed in college, career, and life. Find them on Facebook here, or click here or the image below if you would like to donate online and support a worthy cause to round out your 2015.

Way back in the day, my great friend since childhood, Sue Heiler Brown wanted to volunteer and make a difference. And way back in the day, she did and she still does today with Horton’s Kids supporting these sweet kiddos and giving them good love. I’m so proud of her and her efforts! Myself and my company Giant Leaps Creative LLC support her work with Horton’s Kids, honoring Sue and a great organization that is doing awesome stuff in the world! You rock, sister! Love you!
