I am deeply honored, humbled, grateful, and touched to be able to share my transformation story and interview blog post that Chelsea Dinsmore of Live Your Legend (LYL) posted this week. But this was not just a blog post or just an interview to me – this was a journey that started back in 2007 when my father first was battling cancer, the spiral downward that happened after that, and then the years of clawing my way back up all the way to this very day. My story was not an easy one to tell. I got teary at least once during the interview with the beautiful and encouraging Nazrin Murphie and Leah Hynes – two women who inspire me every day and I cherish as business coaches, colleagues and dear friends. Yet I was STOKED to share my story in an effort to help others that might be struggling through depression or a challenging period of their life.
Scott Dinsmore – founder of Live Your Legend – and his course How To Connect With Anyone came to me at a critical and needed time of my life (back in August of 2014). I will be forever grateful to Scott, Chelsea, Nazrin, Leah and all of the amazing people that I met in the LYL community who support and encourage me to this very day! No one does it alone! And be mindful of who you surround yourselves with. I am grateful beyond words for this amazing, diverse and truly kickass community!

I am blown away by the response so far to this post. Thank you, Scott Dinsmore, for being a beacon of hope for me when I was wondering if there was no tomorrow, if I was even strong enough to start my own business, and if I could ever find true happiness again. Today, partly thanks to Scott and all of these amazing people he introduced me to through the community he created from scratch, I am ecstatically happy, grateful, and just amazingly PUMPED UP every day when I wake up. I know that my mission is to help make the world a more beautiful and loving place. And I do it one logo, one design, one podcast, one performance, one blog post, one conversation at a time — and I LOVE it! To infinity and beyond! Truly!
