I am so proud to announce that my graphic design studio has been selected as a winner in the Twelfth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). We have been awarded a Merit Award for my creative work on a custom-made, one-of-a-kind wedding invitation for a momentous event that transpired this past December 2014. The invitation featured hand-cut inserts, a hand-tied bow, a gold stamp for the enclosure and custom calligraphy (thanks to calligrapher, Phyllis Marton in NY) on all of the outer envelopes. The gorgeous paper was selected and ordered for the design from Envelopments – where Giant Leaps Creative is a featured design studio, as well as a dealer for these beautiful and diverse products. As a dealer, special discounts are available to you, my clients.
Thanks goes out to Jensina Olson – who not only recommended me as the designer, but who also assisted with production, hand-tying every single bow. Thanks also to Cory Lynn Caulfield, a local painter, artist and novelty item designer, who assisted with hand-cutting the specialty inserts. Thanks of course also to the entire Eiseman family, who entrusted me with creating these materials to help make their special day truly a day to remember. I was honored to participate, including dedicating a special song in conjunction with Willem Dicke, an acclaimed musician and special event DJ.
The custom-made, one-of-a-kind wedding materials consisted of the Save The Date postcard, the wedding invitation (with two inserts and the response card tied with a ribbon), the wedding program as well as menu cards – beautifully framed and set at each table for the guests.
